What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners. Some preferences are stored using your browser’s local storage rather than cookies, but the principle is the same.
This site sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies that do not require your consent. It can also set optional analytics cookies, but only after you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline, or have not yet chosen, no analytics cookies are set.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled, as they are required for the site to function. Under UK PECR, they do not require your consent.
Analytics cookies (set only with your consent)
If you select “Accept” on our cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager, which in turn enables analytics tools. These help us understand how the site is used. They are not loaded at all unless you give consent, and they are never used for our essential site functions.

Third-party scripts
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, your IP address is transferred to Google’s servers. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but this transfer constitutes a limited form of data processing. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
If online ordering is available and you proceed to checkout, Stripe’s payment scripts are loaded from js.stripe.com. Stripe may set cookies for fraud-prevention purposes. These are strictly necessary to process your payment securely. Stripe’s cookie policy is available at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing ones, or be notified when a new cookie is set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly — in particular, you may be asked to confirm your age again on every visit.
